Grow-the-Farmily Giveaway Official Rules
These Terms and Conditions apply to the Grow The Farm-ily Giveaway (the “Giveaway”, “Contest”). Please read them carefully. By participating in the Grow the Farm-ily Giveaway, you are agreeing to abide by these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions do not provide any warranties for the Grow the Farm-ily Giveaway, and they also limit Green Hart Farms’ liability. Entrants (“You”, “Your”) refers to individuals who enter the Giveaway by filling out a sign up form either on the Grow the Farmily Giveaway landing page (https://greenhartfarms.kickoffpages.com/) or by clicking on the Giveaway link in an email invitation.
These Terms and Conditions may change from time to time without prior notice and at Green Hart Farms’ sole discretion.
Sponsor: Green Hart Farms (“We”, “Us)
Dates: The Giveaway runs from Thursday July 28, 2022 at 8 AM EST to Wednesday August 31, 2022 at midnight (Extended from Thursday August 18, 2022 on Aug 15, 2022).
Eligibility: Only residents of Kitchener, Waterloo, Stratford, New Hamburg, Baden, or Cambridge Ontario, Canada or nearby communities (within 10 min driving distance from the above listed towns/cities) are eligible to enter. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older. Families may participate, however, a parent/guardian over the age of 18 must enter on behalf of any contestants who are minors.
All entrants must sign up for the Giveaway using the of form on the Grow the Farm-ily Giveaway landing page or via the link in an email invite during the Contest period.
Any fraudulent entries (or entries that are suspected to be fraudulent) will be disqualified from the Giveaway. The use of plus addresses, fake email addresses, and signing up using multiple of your own email addresses to increase your referral count is prohibited.
To Participate:
- Enter by filling out the form on the Grow the Farm-ily landing page
- Share the unique link provided with friends by using the buttons provided
- In order to constitute a valid referral, your Contacts must:
- 1) sign up during the Giveaway Period;
- 2) use a valid email address to sign up;
- 3) not already have an entry in the giveaway;
- 4) not be determined as fraudulent per the review of the Sponsor;
- 5) sign up via your referral link;
- 6) and meet the eligibility requirements for the giveaway.
- Each valid (non-fraudulent) referral will earn you the defined number of points or entries in the giveaway.
How the Grand Prize Winner Is Selected
The grand prize winner (“winner”) is the eligible entrant who tops the leader board by referring the most friends (valid referrals only). An entrant must have a minimum of 21 points to be eligible for the Grand Prize. If no entrants have 21 points by the end of the giveaway, the Grand Prize will not be awarded.
The Grand Prize winner (if any) will be announced on Friday September 2, 2022 (instead of on Friday August 18, 2022) . We will announce the winner on our facebook page, via email, and on the giveaway landing page.

This Giveaway is a skill contest where you gain rewards by taking steps in the contest to earn the number of points associated with each reward level.
If you earn 1 point through non-fraudulent actions and referrals you will receive our ‘Eat Local’ Meal Planner PDF download (Value: $7.50).
If you are one of the first 15 people to earn 11 points through non-fraudulent referrals, you will receive a ‘Totally Rad-ish’ Green Hart Farms T-shirt (Value:$29.99) There are only 15 ‘Totally Rad-ish’ T-shirts available to be won.
If you are one of the first 10 entrants to earn 21 points through non-fraudulent referrals, you will receive a Green Hart Farms cooler bag of veggies (Value: $44.50) There are only 10 Green Hart Farms cooler bags of veggies available to be won
The Prize(s) must be accepted as awarded and may not be substituted or redeemed for cash. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to substitute a prize of equivalent monetary value if the Prize, or part thereof, cannot be awarded as described, for any reason. We will not replace any lost or stolen Prize.
Prize winners will be contacted via email with instructions for claiming their prizes as each prize is earned . Entrants are responsible for checking promo/spam/junk email folders and/or reaching out to us if prize emails are not received.
‘Totally Rad-ish’ farm T-shirts and cooler bags of veggies must be picked up at the farm (1659 Line 41, New Hamburg, ON) on Thursday August 25, 2022 between 4pm and 7pm OR on Thursday September 15, 2022 between 4pm and 7pm . If this time does not work for you, you will need to email us before Thursday September 15,2022 to arrange a different time.
Any prizes that are not picked up by 7pm on Thursday September 15, 2022 will remain the property of Green Hart Farms unless other pick up arrangements have been made.
The Grand Prize winner must claim their prize within 48 hours of the winner being announced by emailing k@greenhartfarms.ca and identifying themselves as the winner.
The ‘Eat Local’ meal planner PDF download will be delivered via email with a download link.
Right to Void/Suspend/Modify
Green Hart Farms reserves the right to terminate, suspend or modify this Giveaway, in whole or in part, at any time and without notice or obligation.
Limitation of Liability and Releases
By participating in this Giveaway, entrants agree that Green Hart Farms and its authorized agents have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless by entrants against, any liability for any injuries (including death), losses or damages of any kind (including direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages) to persons or property resulting from the Giveaway or the Prizes, including the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the Prizes.
Further, by participating in this Contest, entrants agree that Green Hart Farms and its authorized agents, Facebook, and Instagram have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless by entrants against, any liability for any injuries (including death), losses or damages of any kind (including direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages) to persons or property resulting from:
- a) entry or participation in this Contest, including access to and use of the Green Hart Farms website, or
- b) any claims based on personality or privacy rights or defamation.
Without limiting the foregoing,Green Hart Farms, its employees, owners, and/or contractors shall not be responsible for
a) failure of any e-mail, any Contest entry, any Facebook, Instagram and/or direct messages to be received by or from Green Hart Farms for any reason, including but not limited to traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or combination thereof or technical incompatibility;
b) any incomplete or inaccurate information that is caused by entrants, Green Hart Farms’ website users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Giveaway, or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of submissions in the Giveaway;
Publicity/Media Release
By entering the Giveaway, you authorize Green Hart Farms to use your name and/or statement regarding the Prizes without any compensation, in announcements connected to the Giveaway, on the Giveaway leader board, via email, on social media or on other media that we judge appropriate.
By entering the Giveaway you certify that you have carefully reviewed and understand the above provisions and agree to be bound by them.
General
The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Terms and Conditions shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. If any provision of the Terms and Conditions is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable, then the Terms and Conditions shall be construed as if the invalid or unenforceable provision was not contained therein.
This Contest is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada. Each entrant agrees, to the extent permitted by law, that any judicial proceedings relating to any disputes, claims or causes of action arising out of or in connection with the Contest shall take place in the Province of Ontario pursuant to the laws of that province.
This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with, Facebook, NextDoor or Instagram.

The decisions by Green Hart Farms with respect to all aspects of the Grow the Farm-ily Giveaway are final.
