Brussels Sprouts-purple, on the stalk (From Elmira, conv)

Before you decide that you hate brussels sprouts, try steaming them just until they are a bit soft (not mushy), sprinkle with salt and pepper, and serve with cheese sauce.  (Easy cheese sauce- melt some Cheez Whiz in the microwave).

Brussels sprouts are also good roasted, made into cole slaw, or sliced and fried.
