Shade Plants Full Sun Part Shade Pollinators

Perennial-Full Shade

The plants in this section are carefully selected to thrive in full shade, and to have a variety of bloom times ( a tricky thing since many flowers do not thrive in full shade!). We’ve also selected for foliage that looks good even when there are no flowers, and a mix of plant and leaf structures to keep your shady spot attractive throughout the season.

Perennial-Native Polinator

The plants in this section are carefully selected specifically for their attractiveness to various polinators. All are either natives or improved cultivars of native plants, so that you can have a less weedy look, but still help out all of those native pollinators. There are also a mix of bloom times for full season colour and nectar.

Perennial-Full Sun

The plants in this section are carefully selected to thrive in full sun and under dry conditions with low maintenance, and for full season colours. Some bloom in the spring, while others bloom throughout the summer a fall; grass and sedum provide full season interest with their foliage. To have a full season of colour in your garden, choose plants with a mix of bloom times.

Perennial-Part Shade

We’ve selected these plants for their ability to thrive in part shade, and for a mix of bloom times and plant structures. Some can also grow in full shade or full sun.
