Sweet basil is the most commonly used type of basil. This variety is very disease resistant and bolt tolerant, making for more cuttings of flavourful, lush green leaves. You can even grow basil in a sunny windowsill!
A perennial herb that can keep coming back year after year. Great in tomato sauce, and a good companion for tomatoes as well.
A high yielding flat leafed variety with large dark green leaves and robust stems. Use parsley in soups, salads, pesto, sauces, salad dressing, and more. We think that the flat leafed parsley tastes better than the curly type that you usually see.
This robust herb is extremely cold tolerant and comes back year after year. You can even harvest it under a light snow if you so desire! Thyme can be used to spice up many dishes, and is great with fish.
The light green, tender leaves are an excellent addition to salads, and sauces. Grow in full sun to part shade, and harvest the leaves after they are about 6 inches tall. After it bolts, allow it to go to seed for coriander seeds. Annual
