These beans have a sweet flavour and a tender texture- great for snacking or raw bean salads. The plants are resistant to common bean mosaic virus, rust, and curly top making them a good choice for your garden.
These plants produce premium quality pickling cucumbers. The vines are semi-dwarf, making them good for small spaces. And they are highly disease resistant, too! If you are having trouble growing cucumbers, you might want to try these. Resistant to watermelon mosaic virus, zucchini yellow mosaic virus, angular leaf spot, scab, cucumber mosaic, and powdery mildew.
These heavy yielding cucumber plants are so small that they can be grown in containers! Produces slicing cucumbers 8-9″ long. Plants are highly resistant to cucumber mosaic virus. These would be perfect for balconies or patio planters.
A high yielding heirloom variety. Deep purple fruits stay tender for longer so that you don’t have to worry about harvesting them right away. Plants grow to be about 3 ft tall. We generally don’t have disease problems with eggplant, although they do need heat to produce well.
An heirloom Dutch variety used for Borecole. The curled, medium green leaves have excellent flavour which improves with frost in the fall. Harvest kale all summer long and into the early winter from the same plants by picking the lower leaves and leaving the tops to grow.

These varieties produce uniform, round heads of crunchy leaves and are slow to bolt in hot weather, making them a good choice for new gardeners.

These onions are great for long term storage. The plants are also strong and healthy, and resistant to pink root. If you’d like to grow your own onions, these might be a good variety to try.
Prepare for loads of peppers! This very high yielding variety does better in cool temperatures than some other jalapenos, and it is very disease resistant. The peppers are large, dark green, and resistant to cracking. 2500 scovilles
This heirloom variety is still a good producer of medium 4″ peppers with thick, fleshy walls and mild flavour. You can save the seeds if you want as they are open pollinated.

Brighten up your salads and sauteed veggie dishes with these fiery stems and bright green leaves. This variety is resistant to leaf spot, which is the biggest disease issue we’ve had with chard. It is also resistant to downey mildew race 1. Chard is a very easy to grow green, ideal for beginner gardeners as it doesn’t bolt or get bitter nearly as easily as lettuce and spinach.
