Cambridge, New Hamburg, Baden, Stratford, and Wellesley deliveries are on Thursdays between 2pm and 8pm. If you won’t be home, please leave a large cooler out for your veggies. Your veggies will come in either a cardboard box or a paper bag.

Delicious cooked with fish, in hamburgers, made into a dip, or in dill pickles (of course). Product of Ontario
1/2 bushel. These are the best tomatoes for making tomato sauce and canning. Unlike other types of tomatoes, they have more ‘meat’ and less ‘juice’. This means that you won’t have to boil them nearly as long if you’re making a sauce. They are good for making salsa or freezing too. To freeze them, simply wash, run through a blender/food processor, and fill your freezer containers.
1/2 bushel is roughly 25lbs or 18 quarts.
Tomato pick up is available on Saturdays from 10am-noon and Thursday evening from 4-7pm.

*Note for veggie box members: Half bushels of tomatoes are NOT included with your membership, so orders placed using points will just be refunded.
Excellent steamed, in smoothies, or salads (if you massage the leaves first)
Use as a substitute for spinach when cooked (has a rather strong flavour raw).
Taco toppings, here we come! Green onions can be used almost anywhere regular cooking onions would be- but they tend to have a milder, fresher flavour.
