4-pack A colourful addition to your veggie garden. Bright lights chard has a mix of different coloured stems- from deep red and orange to white and yellow.
Chard is excellent in scrambled eggs, omelets, sauteed with garlic, or added to spaghetti sauce.
Add colour to your pesto! Choose from purple,or genovese basil for a flavourful mix.The purple basil has a flavour more similar to genovese basil, but with dark purple leaves. Basil grows well on your windowsill, and in any fertile, well drained garden. It does like heat though, so make sure to plant it in full sun. (2-3 plants/ pot for 4 inch pots)

These pansies have enormous, edible, flat blooms on vigourous compact plants. Technically pansies are a perennial, but they are mostly grown in our climate as a cold hardy annual. This is a biennial herb grown as an annual, although it is quite cold hardy. It’s large flat leaves are reputed to have a better flavour than many of the curly varieties. Can be grown in pots on the kitchen windowsill, as well as out in your garden. Easy to grow from a transplant (but more challenging from seed because of long germination period).
A beautiful plant that not only attracts pollinators, but also yields tender 12” long green beans. You’ll need to support this runner bean, either on trellising or stakes, as it tends to sprawl. Develops pretty deep red flowers. It’s fun to grow with children .
If your tomatoes keep getting wiped out by late blight, here’s a variety for you! Mountain merit is a late blight resistant variety that produces medium to large beefsteak type tomatoes. And it’s also a compact plant, so you’ll be able to grow it in smaller spaces or in containers! Expect to harvest around 75 days from transplant.
This is the best heirloom tomato we know of for growing in pots! The plants only grow up to about 1-2 ft tall (hence ‘tiny’), and are just loaded with bright red mini cherry tomatoes about 1in in diameter. They also ripen earlier than most other heirloom varieties at around 55 days from transplanting. No trellising/ staking required- although they can still benefit from cages. Expect alot of the fruit to ripen at the same time. 4 inch pots
