Sauteed Snap Beans With Herbs

Here’s a quick and delicious way to prepare snap beans – green, yellow, purple or any colour you have on hand.
What You’ll Need:
- 1 lb snap beans (green, yellow, purple or mix them up)
- 3 garlic cloves
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- salt and pepper to taste
- fresh parsley/dill/cilantro
What To Do:
- Cut beans into 1” sections
- Crush and chop the garlic cloves
- Heat the oil and add the garlic. Saute garlic until just tender.
- Add the beans. Continue to saute for 2-3 minutes
- Add 1 cup water. Cook for 20 minutes.
- Remove from heat.
- Add chopped fresh parsley/dill/or cilantro
- Enjoy
Note: Purple beans will loose most of their purple in the cooking process. Most all-purple varieties of snap beans will turn to an olive green.
